Delivery Arrangements & Costs
We aim to dispatch all orders within 2 business days. Shipping times and costs depend on the chosen delivery method:
- Over £30 Free Delivery: Estimated delivery within 2-3 business days
- Royal Mail 24 Delivery: Estimated delivery within 1-2 business days
- Royal Mail 48 Delivery: Estimated delivery within 2-3 business days
Once an order has been dispatched, we will provide tracking information where applicable. Card Shield is not responsible for delays caused by postal or courier services.
Order Cancellation & Returns Policy
Before Dispatch: Customers may cancel or amend their order before it has been dispatched by contacting us at info@card-shield.co.uk
After Dispatch: If the order has already been dispatched, customers have the right to return their items within 14 days of receipt, provided the items are in their original, unused condition. To initiate a return, please contact us at info@card-shield.co.uk
Refunds will be processed within 2 business days of receiving the returned goods. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Liability for Delayed, Lost, or Misrouted Orders
While we strive to deliver all orders on time, delays may occasionally occur due to factors beyond our control. We are not liable for any supplementary costs incurred due to delays, lost, or misrouted parcels. If an order is lost in transit, we will work with the courier to resolve the issue and, where applicable, provide a replacement or refund.
Responsibility for Return Costs
Unless otherwise stated:
- If an item is faulty or incorrect, we will cover the return shipping costs.
- If a customer returns an item for any other reason (e.g., change of mind), they are responsible for covering the return shipping costs.
- Customers should use a tracked shipping method for returns, as we are not responsible for lost returns.
Pre-Order Fulfilment Policy
We offer pre-orders on upcoming trading card products to ensure our customers can secure items ahead of release. Please note the following terms:
- All pre-order release dates are set by the manufacturer and are subject to change without notice. These dates are estimates and are outside of our control.
- Pre-orders are fulfilled based on stock received from our official distributors. We cannot guarantee delivery on release day as allocations, delays, or cancellations from distributors may occur, which are beyond our responsibility.
- In the event we receive less stock than ordered, we will fulfill pre-orders on a first-come, first-served basis. Unfulfilled orders will be refunded in full.
- We reserve the right to cancel and fully refund any pre-order if we are unable to fulfill it due to supplier issues or allocation limits.
- We reserve the right to limit quantities per customer to ensure fair distribution of products to our customers.
Third-Party Reseller Policy
To maintain fair access to products and support the trading card community, we have the following policies in place regarding third-party reselling:
- Our mission is to ensure as many products as possible reach genuine collectors and players. We actively monitor for signs of bulk buying or reselling at inflated prices.
- We reserve the right to cancel any order we suspect to be placed by third-party resellers ("scalpers") intending to flip the product for profit.
- We may apply purchase quantity limits on high-demand items to prevent hoarding and unfair resale practices.
- Multiple or suspicious orders may lead to account restrictions or order cancellation, at our discretion.
